Photo Editing & Curation

Photo Editing & Curation

My career began in the heart of New York’s editorial world. After earning my BFA from the School of Visual Arts, I joined New York Magazine as an Assistant Photo Editor and went on to hold photo editing positions at, New York Magazine, Outside Magazine, Photo District News, The New Yorker, and People Magazine.

Over the years, I’ve built a deep understanding of how imagery communicates — balancing journalistic integrity, artistic expression, and audience engagement. My experience spans:

  • Commissioning photographers and overseeing editorial shoots
  • Producing large-scale commercial and multimedia projects
  • Managing creative teams and budgets
  • Building cohesive visual strategies for print, digital, and immersive platforms

Past Production Projects:

  • Reading American Geography — Producer
Produced Magnum photographer Matt Black’s interactive website visualizing his six-year, 100,000-mile journey across America’s poverty belt. The project combines photography, mapping, and narrative to reveal a connected geography of inequality across 46 states.

  • Amplifier’s “Not For Sale” Campaign (2025) — Creative Production
Produced storytelling and public-art initiatives for Amplifier’s nationwide “Not For Sale” campaign, a movement to protect public lands, Indigenous rights, and climate justice. The campaign mobilized communities through powerful imagery, public installations, and calls to action.
